Aegon International Eastbourne set to be ‘bigger and better’

We are a dynamic and creative full-service marketing communications agency, based in the south of England.

With the Aegon International Eastbourne in just over two months, 2016 is set to be a great year for the tournament; the likes of Belinda Bencic and fan favourite Petra Kvitova have already been announced to compete in the women’s tournament.

Due to the overwhelming response this year, we have announced a new hospitality space called the ‘Congress Suite’, which will be open on Friday 24th June. Along with this, the LTA has introduced a choice of three Patron Packages, giving businesses the chance to become an official sponsor of the tournament. These packages contain various benefits from hospitality at Eastbourne and Wimbledon to a promotional booth and a full page advert in the Eastbourne event programme.

Despite all the exciting new developments at the Aegon International Eastbourne this year, 2017 is set to be even bigger and better, with the refurbishment of Devonshire Park starting soon. The pre-existing ATP World Tour 250 Aegon Open Nottingham event will be moving back to Eastbourne and merging with the WTA Premier Aegon International to form a combined event (as it was from 2009-2014) featuring a 28-player main draw men’s event and 48-player main draw for the women.

Eastbourne Borough Council, Councillor David Tutt, said: “I am delighted that the men’s event will be returning to Eastbourne. This is a real vote of confidence in the town by the LTA. Together, we are not only working to enhance facilities at Devonshire Park, but have also upgraded the community based tennis offer within the town. Devonshire Park has a proud reputation for top quality courts and has played host to the pre-Wimbledon women’s event since the 1970s, the addition of the men’s tournament opens a new chapter in the Eastbourne story.”

PRG will be taking bookings for 2017 from Monday 27th June 2016 at an early bird booking rate.
