PRG helps launch Towner art gallery
Towner – Eastbourne's major new, £8.5m purpose-built art gallery - opened on April 4, with the aim to inspire and engage Eastbourne residents and visitors. PRG was on hand at every step of the launch and the build up to it.
Handling press, delivering updates to the media and the public, generating marketing ideas to reach those who might not ordinarily go to a gallery, design work and grass-roots delivery of key messages were all part of a brief which showed PRG's flexibility.
Towner's opening weekend saw more than 3,300 people come through the door and a proliferation of local and regional press activity on radio, television, on arts websites and in print.
