Baking Cakes To Raise Dough For Macmillan

At PRG Marketing Communications, we will be dusting off our aprons and getting our rolling pins out to bake homemade cakes, cookies and the like for invited guests as we take part in the world's biggest coffee morning on Friday 27 September, raising money for Macmillan Cancer Support.

At PRG Marketing Communications, we will be dusting off our aprons and getting our rolling pins out to bake homemade cakes, cookies and the like for invited guests as we take part in the world’s biggest coffee morning on Friday 27 September, raising money for Macmillan Cancer Support.

This will be the third year in a row that PRG has taken on the challenge, raising £164 in 2011 and £196.20 last year.

PRG managing director Simon Groves said: “We are very proud to be supporting the Macmillan Nurses again this year and we are hoping to raise over £200. They do such fantastic work for those affected by cancer, it is a privilege to help them. We hope that we will get a good turnout to our coffee morning and that everyone will give generously.”

All cakes, treats, coffees and teas will be provided by PRG staff on the day and we’ll be hosting the Macmillan guess how many coffee beans are in the jar’ competition, when one visitor will have a chance to walk away a winner, as well as helping to raise even more money for a noble cause.
