About: Lisa Harrity
Name: Lisa Harrity
Job Title: Copywriter
Profile: Lisa joined PRG four years ago and since the arrival of her two daughters, works as PRG’s copywriter, supporting the account managers in providing press releases, feature stories, newsletters, blogs and other marketing material.
As a trained print journalist, Lisa ‘crossed over to the dark side’ to pursue a career in PR and marketing and handpicked PRG due to its variety, creativity and passion as one of the largest full-service marketing agencies in the South East.
Before crossing over, Lisa worked as a newspaper journalist for local papers in East and West Sussex - highlights included interviewing the then Health Secretary John Reid (a fellow Scot and Celtic supporter), having a drink with singer Paulo Nutini (also a Celtic supporter) after a gig and spending Halloween night at the haunted Michelham Priory (yes, it was scary).
Writing has always been the theme, from her first London job where she created an online character to guide web visitors through the online directory, to working as copywriter for web start-up companies during the dotcom bubble.
Lisa loves reading, writing, watching movies, saying ‘meerkat’ in a russian accent and hot tubs (recently discovered). Hates include having her photograph taken, feet and the Curanail advert which is always on television at breakfast time.
