Energy Saving Trust enrols PRG
The Energy Saving Trust recently asked PRG’s PR team to publicise National Energy Saving Week.
The Trust chose to hold a number of regional-level launches this year, rather than one big national event, and contacted PRG following a recommendation made by our client Climate Energy Ltd. PRG was hired to help with launches in Haringey, London, where the Trust staged an interactive exhibition in a popular shopping centre, and Brighton, East Sussex, where PRG was allowed to create its own low-cost press event.
Knowing that an eye-catching photo can achieve widespread media coverage, we gathered key members of the Energy Saving Trust and Brighton & Hove City Council on the lawn in front of Brighton Pavilion, dressed them in white coats and gloves, and photographed them unravelling giant rolls of loft insulation. The city’s newspaper, The Argus, was among those who published the photo with details promoting Energy Saving Week.
If you are looking for cost-effective publicity to trigger a response from potential buyers, PRG has repeatedly demonstrated an ability to think-up, distribute and sell-in the kinds of photos that communicate a key message and gain widespread media coverage.
If you plan to launch any new products or services in the next year, please call PRG’s account director, Phil Bingham, on 01323 411044 or email phil@prgltd.co.uk to explore the ways you can achieve cost-effective publicity.
