Press launch highlights energy saving initiative

PRG helped the Energy Saving Trust (EST) launch National Energy Saving Week, which offered advice and incentives to the residents of Sussex. Because an eye-catching photo can sell in a story, PRG arranged a photocall with key members of the council and EST having fun with loft insulation.

The backdrop was Brighton’s most famous and identifiable landmark - the Brighton Pavilion. It provided a strong local angle for the regional and local press who ran a sizeable photo with caption covering the event.

A visually strong image can give serious weight to a simple press release. Our image of Michael Fish in a bath to promote solar panels caught the attention of BBC’s Have I Got News For You,
The Telegraph, The Guardian, the local and regional press.

Similarly, we have helped launch cavity wall insulation for councils
across the country. We’ve put Billy Byrne from DIY SOS in a green
fairy costume, obtaining coverage in the local and regional press,
and we had a hand-knitted jumper made to promote insulation
along the south coast.
