Last year, PRG won a competitive pitch against multiple agencies for the contract to design and build a brand new website for Business East Sussex. Part of the Let’s Do Business Group (LDBG), Business East Sussex offers guidance and support to help start-up, run and grow small businesses.
Solution
With an initial short turnaround of three weeks to design and build the original website, our web team successfully created designs which we transformed into a responsive website with a full content management system (CMS).
Now nearly a year on, due to the continued success of the business, the client asked us to revitalise the site to enhance customer engagement and lead generation.
We gave the design a complete makeover, giving it a bold, fresh and prominent appearance. The site continues to use a CMS but we’ve also introduced additional technology in the form of Ajax; this ensures lengthy page content can be easily loaded on the site without compromising page load speed or search engine performance.
We’ve also integrated the social media accounts Business East Sussex utilises, such as Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn, and added social icons to the client’s case studies to ensure they can be easily shared.

Result
The client was pleased with the original site and is even more delighted with the outcome and the positive feedback they have had after the updates to the design, technology and integrated social media accounts.
