Creative advertising designs for Welplan
Welplan 'Goldfish bowl' design concept
Welplan is the leading provider of employee benefits for companies operating in the building services industry. Welplan is a trusted supplier of life cover, disability cover, sickness benefit, pensions and healthcare.
Although these benefits are for employees, it is employers who must be persuaded to buy them - so PRG devleloped creative adverts focussing on how Welplan's products and services can give employers a commercial advantage.
One key advantage for employers is improved recruitment and retention of skilled workers. PRG emphasised this in the heading, copywriting, and image of the advert shown here, where the threat of losing a valued worker is illustrated vividly by a goldfish leaping out of its bowl. This image was subsequently imitated by other advertisers. We are, of course, flattered!
Welplan 'Deckchair' concept
Welplan also operates Inland Revenue-approved holiday pay schemes for the building services industry. In 2007, the Treasury ruled that these schemes will lose their National Insurance exemptions in October 2012.
To encourage companies to take advantage of these exemptions while they are still available, PRG designed an advert with wide appeal, showing a carefree man relaxing on a deckchair on a beach, with the headline 'Holidays shouldn't be taxing!'
