Hospital
Over a period of six months PRG secured exposure
for Christ’s
Hospital school in a range of media, targeting consumer, educational,
and local audiences, culminating in a slot on Blue Peter -
a massive profile raising educational PR exercise for the School.
In June 2008, PRG's media relations generated further
interest in Christ’s
Hospital’s
newly refurbished Boarding Houses, resulting in extensive coverage
within key Independent School titles, plus a piece in Country
Life magazine.
Background
Christ’s Hospital is an Independent Boarding school with a difference, taking children on the basis of need, irrespective of their parent or guardians ability to pay fees.
Despite having an interesting and very worthwhile story to tell, Christ’s Hospital found it difficult to differentiate itself from other, fee paying Independent schools. The audiences Christ’s Hospital wanted to reach were many and varied, including perspective parents, pupils, teachers and donors.
