Regional press launch exceeds sales
targets
PRG enrolled the assistance of a local celebrity to help launch its solar energy marketing campaign for East Sussex Energy Partnership, which achieved widespread media coverage and exceeded the Partnerships’ sales targets for solar energy grants.
PRG chose weatherman Michael Fish to front the press launch, because of his close links to East Sussex and other energy initiatives. To illustrate the solar marketing campaign’s key messages – free help, warmth, and four Local Authorities working together, PRG thought up a humorous photocall scenario involving Michael Fish soaking in a warm bath of bubbles, surrounded by a garland of sunflowers, and invited four Council leaders from Eastbourne, Hastings, Rother and Wealden to join the photoshoot.
