PRG assists with marketing of energy-saving controls
Trend Control Systems, one of the world’s leading Building Energy Management Systems manufacturers, has selected PRG to provide assistance with marketing communications.
Founded in 1980, Trend has undergone rapid and consistent growth, becoming part of Honeywell International in 2005. Now UK market leader and a major global player, Trend is specified for most types of non-residential properties in the UK, including hotels, schools, shops, and hospitals.
To begin the new working relationship, PRG’s studio is designing marketing literature for Trend, including an eight-page folder/brochure. Other projects are expected to follow.
Trend’s Communications and Brand Manager, Steve Browning, said: “Our very capable in-house marketing team is kept busy, not just with the UK but also supplying marketing collateral and advice to 11 overseas territories. When we need external support, PRG is a good fit, able to help with all types of marketing communications and with a good understanding of the building services industry.”
Building energy management systems, traditionally regarded as a way of achieving building occupant comfort, are now becoming recognised for their ability to reduce energy consumption and costs. Trend must reach newly emerging target audiences comprised of Energy Managers, Sustainability Managers and Corporate Social Responsibility policy makers, as well as continuing to communicate with facilities managers, estates managers, and heating/ventilating specifiers and engineers.
