prg strengthens pr and marketing team
Two new members of staff, Sara Hawthorn and Sarah Rajabalee, have joined PRG’s 16-strong PR & marketing team. One brings experience of business-to-business PR and marketing communications while the other has a good knowledge of public relations in the education sector.
Sara Hawthorn, who joins as Account Manager, worked as a journalist for a number of Scottish newspapers and as a columnist for the York Press before heading into the world of business-to-business PR and marketing. She joins PRG from a PR and marketing agency with clients from the agriculture industry and is swapping York for the coastal town of Eastbourne.
Sussex-born Sarah Rajabalee, who joins as Account Executive, has an honours degree in broadcast journalism. She travelled extensively before coming back to the UK to gain a qualification in newspaper journalism. She has freelanced on a number of lifestyle and travel websites and volunteers as the Press Chair for local charity association The 1066 Country Relay Fundraisers. Sarah previously worked for Sussex Downs College as Press and PR Officer, where she gained an insight into the training and education of 14 year olds to adults. In this role, she successfully promoted National Apprenticeship Week locally and regionally.
