Who did you back? PRG supports Climate Energy X Factor finalist
Whether you love it or hate it, the X Factor has been dominating our TV screens during the build up to Christmas, and this year PRG was rooting for Olly Murs, who worked for PRG client Climate Energy!
Sadly, the cheeky Essex lad with the self-taught dance moves failed to beat off tough competition from Joe McElderry to win the £1 million record deal up for grabs in the X Factor final on Sunday, but PRG hopes Olly will continue to pursue a career in singing.
Last month, Olly popped into Climate Energy’s office in Witham to see his old workmates and took time to pose for a few photos. Olly used to work on Climate Energy’s advice team, advising people on energy efficiency measures around the home, but following his first audition on the X Factor, he rocketed to stardom and reached the final two in the 2009 finals.
Linda Galforg, Marketing Manager for Climate Energy, commented: “Although we all miss Olly around the office and are sad he didn’t win, he has definitely found the place to showcase his true talent. We are extremely proud of how well he has done and are thankful to PRG for backing him for the X Factor final.”
