Managing Director of PRG, Ray Groves, has taken over the role of President of Eastbourne and District Chamber of Commerce. He was passed the badge of office at the chamber’s annual meeting by outgoing President Steven Goss-Turner, where he paid tribute to Steven’s hard work and energy over the past two years.
He told members the chamber would continue its reactive and proactive role, contributing and leading in many ways.
The Eastbourne Chamber of Commerce is heavily involved in all important local issues, including the fight for the DGH, the campaign for improvements to the A27, local parking issues, and the expansion of the town centre.
He emphasised the importance of the chamber directors and office being aware of the needs of members, and also that members knew what was being done on their behalf.
