The point of good PR

Eastbourne-based PRG welcomed the Worshipful the Mayor and more than 100 local business people to the official opening of its new building, ‘The Point’, and a celebration of 25 years in business, last Thursday (March 30).

Guests walked up a red carpet to join the movie premiere-themed party at the company’s distinctive premises in College Road in the Devonshire Park complex. A giant Oscar, paparazzi snapper and popcorn machine kept guests entertained before they enjoyed a ‘backstage tour’ of the building, which has had a complete overhaul since the Council’s tourism and leisure department vacated it last year.

Presenting Managing Director, Ray Groves, with the giant Oscar, the Mayor congratulated PRG on a successful quarter century during which PRG has implemented countless innovative PR campaigns, raising the profile of its clients on a local and national level. He went on to express his delight at an Eastbourne business performing so successfully and creatively.

Mr Groves thanked his team and said: “This inspiring, creative space is a reflection on our past successes but also on our future goals. It has given us room to grow further, taking on more divisions such as our exciting new media and entertainment marketing teams. We are delighted to welcome so many high calibre guests through our doors for what has proved an extremely successful event.”

PRG, the largest full-service PR and marketing agency in the southeast, is well respected as an agency that gets results.
