Boom Battle Bar drops in Eastbourne

Eastbourne’s newly refurbished Beacon Centre has welcomed the opening of the town’s first adventure bar. Boom Battle Bar, a brand-new hospitality concept which aims to capitalise on the competitive socialising trend, has 17 outlets throughout the UK.

Featuring a raft of engaging and interactive activities and games like Crazier Golf, Augmented Reality Darts, Shuffleboard and American Pool, the Boom Battle Bar offers a unique and exciting concept for people of all ages looking to have fun and unwind. The most intriguing of the activities on offer has to be the Bavarian Axe Throwing! In a fully controlled environment with supervision, you can test your aim – and bravery – as you embrace your inner Viking; it really does bring a fun new experience to Eastbourne.

The chain has already established itself in Norwich, Cardiff, Liverpool and Lakeside and has plans to open more battlegrounds in places such as Oxford, Chelmsford and the O2 Arena.

Boom Battle Bar approached PRG Marketing for help organising a launch event. They wanted to host a VIP evening, inviting key players in the Eastbourne area and social media influencers to generate a buzz around the new venue and get people talking. After an exciting initial meeting where we got to see the impressively sized Eastbourne facility in its full glory, plans for the launch evening – and future marketing strategy – got underway.

PRG already has links with local influencers due to previous launch events, the event for Boom Battle Bar allowed us to increase our contact pool and engage them in a new and exciting project.

The VIP evening was a great success, with multiple social media influencers attending to create social media content about the Boom Battle Bar, with ongoing activity planned for the future. The social media influencers were joined by some local Eastbournians to spread the word of the new hottest spot in town. Boom Battle Bar enjoyed extensive coverage across its social media channels as well as being in local newspapers and on the event websites.

After the challenges endured during the Covid-19 pandemic it was great to see people come together to socialise and have fun.

Rudra Mishra, Owner of Eastbourne’s Boom Battle Bar said: “We can’t wait to welcome local people. The fit-out is looking fantastic and everyone here is really excited to do what we do best and see people enjoying themselves in a safe and secure environment.”
