Expanding our digital portfolio

Introducing Jess Brunt, PRG's new Digital Marketing Executive.

Since the completion of my Communications and Media degree six years ago, I have honed my PR and marketing skills in a variety of sectors including travel, beauty, fashion, business and lifestyle.

Having created a PR campaign for a new hair styling tool as part of my degree, I knew after graduating the course it would be a route I’d look to pursue. As a serious social media addict, finding out you could actually get paid to tweet and create content for Facebook and Instagram was enormously appealing, and further fuelled my love for creating engaging and informative campaigns.

After graduating from the University of Brighton, I worked as an intern at national publications such as Reveal magazine and The Observer, as well as local newspapers the Eastbourne Herald and The Hastings Resident. I also worked as a freelance beauty writer for Dubai based publication Friday.

During this time, I did everything from writing and researching features to organising location shoots, as well as being the resident office tester! This meant trying everything from the latest beauty buys to the best places to grab a bite to eat (all in the name of research of course) and I loved every single second!

Once back in Sussex, I was enticed in-to the exciting and fast paced world of party planning, and went on to work at a local event management agency for over four years. I began organising B2B and B2C events and account management, and then took over looking after the PR and social media channels for the company’s flagship brands.

What attracted me to PRG was the varied client portfolio, the opportunity to get creative on a number of platforms and work across different marketing disciplines. As Digital Marketing Executive, I’m really looking forward to sinking my teeth in-to some exciting and challenging projects and working with the rest of the talented PRG team.

I’d like to thank everyone at PRG for making me feel so welcome and here’s to a new chapter!
