Here at PRG Marketing Communications, we’ve decided to choose a charity to support and fundraise and this year we have chosen to raise funds for Cancer Research UK as this is a charity very close to our ‘PRG heart’.
Cancer Research UK is the biggest independent cancer research charity in Europe. The charity carries out research into the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of cancer by supporting over 4,000 doctors, nurses and scientists in the UK.
For our first fundraiser of the year, we’ll be holding a charity pub quiz on Wednesday 4th June from 6pm onwards at Bibendum. The winner will receive £60 and second prize will be 6 bottles of wine very kindly donated by H T White.
In addition to this we will be holding a raffle with a chance of winning some really great prizes, including tickets to the AEGON International tennis tournament semi-final.
