PRG Marketing Communications is pleased to announce the appointment of Simon Groves as its new managing director.
Simon, who has been with PRG for 13 years and a director of the company for eight years, succeeds his father Ray Groves as managing director. Ray will be moving to the new role of chairman.
Ray said: “I am delighted that Simon has accepted the role of managing director at PRG, a position that is well deserved.
“Simon has for some time been making a tremendous contribution towards the running of the agency at all levels, as well as focusing on bringing in new business, and his involvement has been critical to the advances we have made during the last year.
“PRG was established by my wife Denny and I nearly 35 years ago and I can assure you that I will enjoy watching the business develop with Simon at the helm, as I continue to make a contribution in the new role of chairman of PRG.”
Simon said: “I’m excited to take over running PRG at a time when we have so many varied clients and such a talented 15-strong team.
“Building on over 30 years of experience, I’m proud of our Smarter Marketing approach, offering the complete package of online and offline marketing services, web development and graphic design – all in-house.
“Clients receive a fully integrated service, knowing that we will promote them via the best channels for their business.”
The announcement comes during a year of progression for the company – recently rebranded PRG Marketing Communications – with a host of new clients added to the roster from across the UK and abroad.
The team at PRG is also growing, with a new web developer added to the expanding digital division and three new staff recruited to the PR and marketing side of the business in the last year.
