PRG team tackle KAPOW! obstacle course in aid of St Wilfrid’s Hospice

Marketers during the week, KAPOW superheroes at the weekend; the PRG team are pleased to announce they’ll be taking part in this year’s KAPOW! in aid of St Wilfrid’s Hospice.

As friends and clients of PRG may know, PRG Account Manager Martyn Leek (AKA super Leeky!) was cared for at the hospice during 2018 before his passing, meaning the cause is close to the hearts of everyone he worked with. We’re sure if super Leeky was here, he’d join us in running, tumbling and flying to the finish line!

KAPOW! is an obstacle course spanning 5km  that will see the PRG team compete against other local businesses. The course features inflatables and obstacles including a foamy finale meaning the PRG team will really have to put their sporting prowess to the test! The theme of the day is superheroes, so we’ll be donning our best capes and superhero attire along the way.

Inflatables the team will have to tackle include ‘The Mangle’, ‘Holy Cow’, ‘The Big Dipper’ and a foam bath! The KAPOW! workforce event takes place from 2.30pm following the morning event which will see individual members of the public take on the fun run.

As many local to Eastbourne and the surrounding area will know, St Wilfrid’s Hospice offers end of life care in East Sussex.  The hospice has a vision to create a community where people talk openly about dying, live well until the end of their lives and where nobody dies alone, afraid or in pain.

The PRG team have set a fundraising target of £1000, and now we need your help to get us there! Any donations, no matter how big or small are very much appreciated so please support us and feel free to come along and cheer on (laugh at!) the team on the day at Hampden Park.
