Sun, tennis and Eastbourne

I have to confess, I'm not much of a tennis fan. However, even I couldn't fail to get excited when I found out that Venus and Serena Williams were going to play the AEGON International Tennis tournament here in Eastbourne.

I have to confess, I’m not much of a tennis fan. However, even I couldn’t fail to get excited when I found out that Venus and Serena Williams were going to play the AEGON International Tennis tournament here in Eastbourne.

The last time I played tennis was back in school, and my knowledge of players is shockingly bad. I’m quickly getting educated at PRG and we’re lucky enough to have our offices at Devonshire Park. For the past two years, we’ve been selling the corporate hospitality for AEGON at Eastbourne. So, I was really pleased when I was told that Greg Rusedski, Boris Becker, Martina Navratilova and Martina Hingis were going to play at the Legends Event, mainly because I knew who they were!  (Sadly Boris had to pull out.)

Whenever the tennis comes to town, there is always a good atmosphere – even more so this year, as we have so many top players here in Eastbourne. Thanks to the Legends Event and the Williams sisters, we have had record hospitality sales – on most days it has been full.

I’m happy to report that Eastbourne will continue to be the venue for the AEGON International for the next three years, and hopefully, we shall still be selling the corporate hospitality.

The tennis isn’t over yet, but if you would like to book for next year, contact Tracey Ledger on tracey@prgltd.co.uk or 01323 411044. If you’re early enough, you might be able to get this year’s prices – £169 Mon-Wed and £189 Thurs-Sat.
