Challenge
The complete refurbishment to the premises introduces drastic changes and brings a new focus on family and good quality food, right in the heart of Old Town. From our initial meeting, PRG felt that we gained a good understanding of the theme, style and direction that our client is taking The Rainbow and relished the opportunity to bring that vision to the new website. The primary objectives of website were:
- Showcase the pub, the styling and the new offering, ensuring it is clear that the focus is on good food and drink
- Drive customers to book a table online
- Promote the menus and booking special occasions
- Showcase the personality via the online gallery

Solution
PRG produced a fully responsive website. The site includes clear calls to action, an easy and intuitive navigation and strong sign posting around the site, to ensure a great and simplistic user experience.
Having pinned down the site structure with the client, we set to work creating a strong visual. We design our sites with responsiveness in mind and ensure we work through the user experience from mobile up to desktop.
The website is focused on driving bookings for tables via the online booking system, over the phone or through email/the contact form. PRG therefore integrated the site with Open Table, a third party service, allowing the customer to make a reservation through the website.

Result
Commenting on the final website, Shoes Simes Owner of The Rainbow Pub said:
“I approached PRG to produce a new website as part of our marketing plan for the newly refurbished Rainbow Pub. Matt took time to listen and met us during the works in order to get the look and feel from our new interior design. The new website compliments this as it translates into the overall design. PRG also integrated the website with an online booking platform to helps to streamline our booking processes. We couldn’t be happier with the end result!”
