It’s hard to believe I’ve been with PRG for a month now. I hit the ground running with a busy first few weeks, but the support from the team has been amazing.
Since joining, I’ve had a chance to meet the clients I’ll be working with and get up to speed with the projects in the pipe and underway. My clients specialise in cooling and heating solutions, fire safety and security – plus I’ve been given the opportunity to head up one of PRG’s new partnerships with Arthur C. Towner Funeral Directors. It’s been great to put names to faces and start building relationships with such an interesting mix of clients and attend my first onsite meeting with Towners in St Leonards.
What has surprised me most since starting with PRG is how integrated the agency is within the community. Living locally, it’s rewarding to see the work we do with regional companies come to life and have the opportunity to build networks in and around Eastbourne.
PRG’s wider presence, with clients across the UK, Europe and beyond, means balance is key and my ten years of global and local marketing experience is playing a prominent role in my day-to-day.
PRG also has strong family roots which extend to staff and being a father of two, this is a very welcome benefit. Sharing stories with colleagues and learning about activities for kids in the area has become common in the office. It’s comforting to be surround by people who have experience raising a family, as well as a mixed bag of professional expertise to bring to the table. I also had a fantastic night out with the team at this year’s Eastbourne Business Awards, where PRG sponsored the Creative Excellence Award.
My time here so far has been encouraging and I feel like I’ve added value to the work PRG do already. Success is recognised and rewarded – and hard work is definitely noticed.
So, a big thank you to the PRG team and my clients for making my onboarding as smooth as possible. I’m looking forward to all the exciting projects we’ve got coming up.
