Challenge

We had just created a brand new website for Ross & Co, so they wanted a means of driving traffic to the website and generating brand awareness in the local area. Whereas GCS were celebrating their 20th anniversary, and wanted to ensure the company had a strong online presence to target new and existing clients.

Solution

Ross & Co were already established on Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn but were struggling to find the time to post frequently and generate interesting content. We took over management of all three accounts and started posting fresh, relevant content daily, from new residential or commercial properties on the market to property news. We also started interacting with current followers on Twitter and gaining new ones by following local accounts and partaking in various conversations such as #SussexHour.

GCS did not have any form of social media but wanted to engage with conveyancers, law firms and those in the property industry, targeting decision makers in their field from all over the country who would choose GCS to provide their legal indemnity policies.

As their main aim was to reach a younger demographic of conveyancers who were in the early stages of their careers, we felt on this occasion that Twitter would be the best platform for interaction due to how popular the social media platform is with their target audience.  After deciding which platform was best for the client, we built their profile from scratch where we share relevant industry news to position them as experts in their field; we also post regular content from the GCS blog which aims to act as a news portal for the industry.

Result

Since PRG took over the Ross & Co social media accounts, their Twitter following has increased and post impressions have soared to 49,000, helping position Ross & Co as experts in the property field. The GCS Twitter profile has reached 122 followers – a decent following in a niche market – and gained good quality industry followers such as law firms and conveyancers.  Tweet impressions have also grown over several months from 2,803 to 4,789 in July.
