Providing a Public Voice for the Plastic Pallet Community

Challenge

As Goplasticpallets.com’s long-standing marketing partner of eight years, PRG was tasked with creating a marketing campaign with the primary aim of offering the plastic pallet industry a public voice for the very first time.

Solution

PRG set out to start a revolution by launching Pallet Evolution – a marketing campaign spearheaded by Goplasticpallets.com.

First of all we created a microsite to educate pallet users about the many advantages of using plastic pallets and dispel some of the myths that threaten to give plastic pallets a bad name. This included a blog, which we keep regularly updated with industry news and views from both our client and guest bloggers who we’ve activity sought out to support the Pallet Evolution marketing campaign.

We then launched a Twitter account to spread the word about #PalletEvolution and secured three trade media partners. In each trade magazine we placed a series of editorials and ads which we designed in-house using the striking campaign branding we created.

We also send quarterly e-shots to customers who sign up on the microsite to receive Pallet Evolution’s latest news.

Result

Since the campaign launched in November 2014 we have achieved extensive coverage across materials handling, logistics, warehouse and packaging trade media.

We have also secured some great guest bloggers including the British Plastics Federation and continue to grow and interact with the followers we’ve built on Twitter.
