Challenge
Goplasticpallets.com was involved in a major project that involved supplying plastic containers to help a large pharmaceutical company speed up the production of its popular sports drink to meet demand for the London 2012 Olympics. PRG’s job was to make sure that the project achieved significant press coverage in print and online.
Solution
We recommended organising a photo shoot at the pharmaceutical company’s manufacturing plant to take photos of the plastic containers in use to accompany a case study about the project.
After sourcing quotes from a selection of professional photographers, we provided our chosen photographer with a detailed brief to ensure that photos of the containers were taken throughout the entire manufacturing process.
We then interviewed one of the project managers at the plant and wrote a case study which we distributed to trade magazines and websites in the materials handling, logistics and drinks manufacturing sectors.
Result
Our strong story hook and good quality photos helped us achieve media coverage worth a total of £11,000, which included four trade magazines and five trade websites – and all this for just a cost to the client of £1,465.
