Challenge
Founded by Nelson Ashby as a tyre retailer, the business has evolved over the years adding new services, including battery manufacturing and today is run by Nelson’s great grandson and 4th generation in the firm, Matt.
In 2015, Eastbourne Tyre Co Ltd started vehicle servicing, repairs and MOT testing and in November 2022 opened a new workshop on Stansted Road, which was named ETC Auto Centre.
With no website to promote its services, ETC Auto Centre came to PRG for expert advice and help designing and building an easy-to-use website to promote all of its services and allow customers to book MOTs online.
Solution
PRG took a thorough brief from the client, whose main objectives were a striking design and easy-to-use functionality to make booking MOTs smooth and simple.
We used WordPress as the content management system (CMS), allowing the client to be able to easily update and edit all content and images as required. The site allows customers to find out about ETC’s comprehensive list of services – everything from air-conditioning recharge and brake inspections, to servicing and tyres – and includes instructions on how to find ETC, as well as a blog section for ETC to share new products and services.
A key requirement was for the site to integrate with Garage Hive, which our expert web developer integrated seamlessly to allow customers to book their car MOT through the website.
Result
Following the successful launch, PRG will now be redesigning the existing Eastbourne Tyre Co Ltd website in keeping with the new style branding.
