New website for Sussex wealth management specialists

Challenge

The business specialises in the provision of comprehensive financial advice for individuals, business owners and Trustees predominately located in Sussex and the South East.

In late 2019, Simpsons Wealth Management LLP’s practice split, leaving partners Robert and Mark running the existing Simpsons business. PRG was asked to take down the existing website and create a temporary holding page before tackling the redevelopment of the main website.

Solution

PRG has supported Simpsons with graphic design projects for more than 15 years, so we were familiar with the business and its customer base. This allowed us to design a website that put the customers’ needs at its core. Using high quality images from our stock library we crafted a design with a fresh new look that retained Simpsons’ brand identity.

From initial meetings with the client, we learnt that Simpsons had joined the Best Practice Network meaning that it was no longer authorised by the FCA. With this information we worked with the client to revise the initial specification to ensure we tailored the site to perfectly meet the business’ requirements.

The site needed to reflect the ethos and heritage of Simpsons, providing a friendly and approachable explanation of what a Financial Planner is and why you need one. The finished result is a fully responsive (mobile-device friendly) website with clear calls to action that illustrates the hand-holding steps Simpsons will take for you to have a happy future.

Built using WordPress, we removed the default text editor and created a full suite of layouts, allowing the client to easily select from different layouts without the need to know any code.

Finally, PRG linked the site to various Google tools, such as analytics, tag manager and search console, allowing us to obtain useful insights for future marketing campaigns and monitor the site’s overall performance.
