PRG creates engaging website with interactive cocktail menu for popular Eastbourne nightspot
Those who like a tipple in Eastbourne will no doubt be familiar with Eastbourne Cocktail Club (ECC). A favourite for post-work drinks and with students and locals alike at weekends, the bar was developed in the old Greenhouse premises and has gone from strength to strength following a revamp.
The venue offers the finest cocktails in Eastbourne, and now food in the garden area courtesy of Old Dave’s Gourmet Burger Co.
Despite a loyal crowd of customers flocking to the bar, Eastbourne Cocktail Club’s website appeared unfinished and PRG felt it didn’t compliment the great products and atmosphere the bar offers. Enter the PRG web team, who were tasked with putting together a fresh, dynamic and vibrant site that reflects the ethos of the popular haunt.
The bar is a firm favourite with customers who like to share photos and reviews on social media, so it seemed fitting that the website was integrated with the company’s social channels. As the name would suggest, the bar specialises in cocktails, offering an extensive menu of treats.
The web team set about making the website more engaging, offering users a fun and fully interactive experience, something which extends to the bar’s comprehensive menu that now offers customers the chance to pick their own spirit and choice of mixers to find out which cocktail best suits their tastes.
After an initial design for the revamped website was approved, during the development process the client was able to reflect on their design choices and brief with the PRG web team. Subsequently it was decided by all parties that the look of the website should be changed – something that the PRG web team feels has strengthened user experience and the overall site appearance significantly.
The website was given a dynamic and lively feel, capturing audiences via its use of video, animations and interactions.
The overall result is one that PRG’s Web Development Manager Ian Jarvis and the PRG web team is very proud of and we’re thrilled our client feels the same.
