Challenge
Inspired Home Interiors is a luxury kitchen, bedroom and bathroom brand from Sussex-based company Stamco.
Our brief was to publicise the new brand, which was created in-house by PRG, and the grand opening of a new showroom as well as help arrange the event itself.
Solution
First we formulated a marketing plan using our integrated approach, making full use of traditional marketing tactics alongside digital media.
We helped get local radio station Sovereign FM involved by arranging a radio advertising campaign in which Inspired Home Interiors sponsored a ‘phone in’ competition to win a new kitchen with the final broadcast live on the launch day. We provided Sovereign FM with sound-bites, a comprehensive information pack, and facilitated the live interviews on the day.
The grand opening was planned to coincide with Eastbourne’s annual Airbourne event, allowing us to capitalise on an increased presence in the town. Using our network of contacts, we arranged sponsorship of the event via its Radio Airbourne service; securing a series of advertising opportunities inclusive of arena banners, online and print advertising, and a postcard-sized insert within the official programme as well as continual mentions of the brand on air.
During the build up to the grand opening, our talented designer produced full page adverts for insertion in the local press, local lifestyle and culture magazines aimed at targeting our core demographic. We also arranged product placement opportunities within the magazines.
In addition, we designed and built a website plus produced an e-shot template ensuring everything was consistent and ‘on brand’. Finally, we set up social media accounts for Inspired Home Interiors and populated these with content pre- during and post-event.
Result
Due to the comprehensive marketing plan, the brand launch event was a huge success with visitor numbers exceeding our client’s expectations. The promotional materials and radio advertising also helped drive traffic to the website, where the client witnessed a spike in traffic over the event weekend.
