The appeal and availability of sliding and bi-fold doors and windows has increased dramatically in recent years. German manufacturer Solarlux needed help to develop a UK ‘voice’ to allow them to promote their point of difference and to help position them within the UK market.

PRG was given the task of building the Solarlux brand and managing the company’s public relations activity in the UK to help create awareness, in particular amongst architects and specifiers.


We have worked closely with Solarlux since 2012, helping build their brand and making people aware of their high end, luxury product ranges. We have achieved this with targeted public relations activity – primarily press releases and case studies.

Our PR campaign strategy focuses on architects commissioned to work on inspiring design projects for new builds and remodelling. This strategy targeted those architects seeking unique, custom-made materials to achieve a design ‘edge’, combining technical superiority with high energy efficiency.

Equally, we also communicate directly with end-users who are looking for bespoke design concepts with an eco-friendly focus. Solarlux offers a range of environmentally friendly products, including sustainable wood, water-based glazes and the lowest U values available on the UK market. Ultimately, consumers will benefit from significant cost savings through optimal thermal insulation and the achievement of passive house standards.


We have achieved extensive PR coverage across Architectural, Building and Construction trade media, providing Solarlux with a superb platform from which to launch the brand in the UK.
