Launching property sales division through interactive website

Challenge

Having previously worked with PRG’s design studio on newsletters, customer surveys and blogs, the team at Ginger & Sanders approached PRG’s web experts to modernise and refresh their existing lettings website. As part of the new site, the company also wanted to incorporate a sales section to reflect a new area of focus for the business.

Solution

PRG has worked with a number of estate agents over the years, and as such, the web team were fully aware that most agents now use Rightmove to share their sales and lettings portfolio.

As such, the first port of call for PRG’s web team was to find out how Ginger & Sanders currently handled uploading their properties to Rightmove and whether they used existing Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software or a Content Management System (CMS) which would allow for direct updating of content to the site. The plan was to integrate such a system with their existing software to help streamline processes. As it transpired, Ginger & Sanders were uploading properties manually, consuming valuable staff time.

With this in mind, PRG came up with the concept of adding all properties to the new website using a new, very simple to manage CMS which the web team created for them.

Result

Thanks to the new CMS, once the properties and all details have been safely added, Ginger & Sanders can then publish them not only to their new website but also instantly to sales and lettings on Rightmove. This gives Ginger & Sanders control over adding properties and scheduling to their own website. Staff can now also remove properties from Rightmove directly from the company’s own CMS, as well as removing properties from the Ginger & Sanders site. Furthermore, any amendments made to properties, such as the sale or letting status will instantly be updated to Rightmove when staff update the information on the company website.

The new site also features a far more intuitive and advanced search facility and adheres to the most up-to-date SEO standards. It is also fully responsive to ensure Ginger & Sanders can reach all potential buyers, sellers and tenants.
