Following the success of recent marketing campaigns for four local authorities, PRG managing director Ray Groves was invited to speak in March to an audience of 80 Council officers, most from Housing departments. The Chartered Institute of Environmental Health organised the forum, in Horsham, Sussex, as part of its ongoing commitment to develop workplace skills and best practice.

Ray shared the stage with Eastbourne Borough Council’s Private Housing Manager, Andrew Berry. Using real-life case studies, they explained ‘How local authorities can work with marketing agencies to target, reach and persuade people entitled to grants and assistance.’ Andrew told the audience how the local authority set out its brief and Ray explained how PRG responded with processes that are “part science and part art.”
