PRG employees say ‘jog on’ to cancer!

At PRG, we like to think we are an active bunch and, this weekend, account manager Michaela Bailey and account support Yasmin Dyson put that to the test by running alongside another 1,000 women in the Cancer Research UK Race For Life 10km event in Stanmer Park, Brighton, on Saturday 5 July 2014.

Earlier this year, PRG chose Cancer Research UK as its charity of the year and has already raised over £650 after a successful charity pub quiz last month.

Michaela said: “We signed up as we both fancied a challenge and wanted to do our bit for the charity. It’s great to be able to help support them and raise awareness of the charity’s fantastic work researching the causes and treatment of cancer.”

Yasmin added:”I never usually run but fancied doing something different. It was a privilege to be part of such an amazing day and all for a charity that is very close to our hearts.”

Michaela and Yasmin are continuing their training ready for the London Half Marathon on 12 October 2014, when they will be running for the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (NSPCC). Anyone who would like to sponsor them can visit their Just Giving page.
