Hillier Eases Backache From Gardening

PRG's client Hillier Eastbourne is hosting a special gardening talk on Thursday February 23 to help raise money for the garden centre's charity of the year the Alzheimer's Society.

PRG’s client Hillier Eastbourne is hosting a special gardening talk on Thursday February 23 to help raise money for the garden centre’s charity of the year the Alzheimer’s Society.

If the approach of the spring gardening season sends a twinge through your spine, Tim Mason, Hillier Garden Centre’s gardening expert, will provide advice and tips on how to ‘take the backache out of gardening’.

Tim said: “I’ll be showing you how to avoid those aching muscles by using the right tools for the job and by using them properly. All too often, gardening is seen as an arduous chore just because we go about it in the wrong way. Do it the right way and gardening is a great way to keep fit and active without going to the gym.”

Glyn Webster, Hillier Eastbourne’s Garden Centre Manager, is looking forward to welcoming regular customers and newcomers. He said: “These events are always popular and I expect this to be a real winner. We don’t charge admission but we ask for a donation to the Alzheimer’s Society, and we’ll be raffling a couple of Tim’s recommended tools.

“I hope this event will add significantly to the magnificent sum of £17,500 Hillier has already raised for this wonderful cause.”

The talk Take the Backache Out of Gardening starts at 10.30am on February 23 2012. To guarantee your seat, early arrival at Hillier Garden Centre Eastbourne on the B2104 Hailsham Road is recommended.

PRG hopes to see you there!
