As champions of business promotion for companies of all sizes, PRG has recommended the programme to its manufacturing clients and supported one such client in the application process.
The Manufacturing Growth Programme offers advice and funding for manufacturers to help with business growth. In addition to this, the programme offers SMEs access to business experts to identify areas for improvement and expansion. The grants available to SMEs via the programme cover up to 35% of the cost of external advice and can be used on marketing the business.
The grants are available for businesses in a number of regions across the UK, including those in East Sussex, Kent, Essex and Yorkshire. Proving that a well planned and executed marketing strategy is a valuable asset for SMEs, the grants will enable SMEs wanting to further their marketing efforts to gain a grant of upwards of £1000 towards the costs of seeking external expertise.
Just some of the SME marketing uses for the grant include consultancy and support with social media, digital and print campaigns. PRG’s previous experience in the manufacturing sector includes clients with varied operations including plastic extrusions, industrial air handling units and fitted furniture. These include innovative manufacturing specialists such as Condale Plastics, Daikin Applied and David Bailey Furniture Systems.
To be eligible for the funding via the Manufacturing Growth Programme businesses must meet specific criteria including having fewer than 250 employees, and a turnover less than or equal to 50 million euros. If you are unsure if your business would qualify for the programme, you can check if you meet the full criteria here.
