New branding for Eastbourne construction group

Challenge

Hawes Building Limited approached PRG Marketing Communications when it was looking to evaluate and strengthen its visual identity. Hawes Building Limited was established in 2013 and the business has grown and developed in that time, meaning the branding needed to be reviewed and refreshed. 

Hawes Building Limited is a fully accredited, family run, construction contractor based in Polegate. The contractor specialises in commercial and residential building services. Directors Sarra and Bruce Hawes are both passionate about putting the customer first and pride themselves on Hawes’ precision and professionalism.

The objectives of the rebrand were to:

• Showcase Hawes new identity
• Reflect Hawes professionalism and quality
• Show the direction in which the brand is headed.

Solution

PRG held a brainstorming meeting with Hawes to ascertain a full understanding of the current positioning and future aspirations of the company. Sarra and Bruce have built a sizeable brand and we felt Hawes had outgrown its name. After discussion it was decided that the name should be changed to Hawes Construction Group to fully reflect the size and breadth of the company.

PRG produced a rebranding document, proposing a selection of potential logos and a revised set of brand colours. The proposed logos were an evolution, respecting the journey the company is on.  The rebrand document we proposed included mockups of the new logos on vans, flags, hoardings, company clothing, business cards and more to help with visualisation. 

Result

Hawes Construction Group – as the company is now known – can be seen driving newly branded vans around the Sussex area. The new brand is bold and confident, an accurate representation of the company. 

We designed and built a new, fully responsive website, one that offers an intuitive and insightful user experience, it is easy to navigate with a clean and contemporary design.
